After having done some traveling abroad I have realized there is so much of my own country I still want to see. I have been to almost all the states at one point or another when we traveled growing up, but I would like to experience all these places again as an adult.  Plus I now have a boyfriend who has never been to the US and is mad to do a road trip with me.  We are hoping to do some sort of epic road trip in the future, so for now here is some travel inspiration for a West Coast (best coast) North American road trip!

1.Juno, Alaska

I have never been to Alaska but have always wanted to go. Unlike a lot of the world, Alaska is still naturally beautiful and has been impacted less by man.   I am sure it would be extremely cold, but the air would be fresh and every night you would be able to see the stars.

2. Vancouver, Canada

I have also never been to Canada, and seeing how Vancouver is the closest to where I live in California, it has alway been on the top of my list.  I have only heard wonderful things about this fun and exciting city, and I can’t wait to go!

3. Seattle, Washington

I have family that lives in Spokane, Washington but I have never been to Seattle.

4. Portland, Oregon

My dad used to live in Portland and it is one of my favorite places to visit.  It is such an awesome city with is cool coffee shops and hipster store, everything about Portland calls out for a younger, tech-savvy or liberal crowd .  I could see my self living here one day.

5. Yellowstone National Park

Old faithful.

6. Salt Lake City, Utah

I have been to Utah once before and was completely mesmerized by the beautiful red rocks.  There is so much to do in Utah if you are the outdoorsy type, and I can’t wait to go here to hike and rock climb.

7. San Francisco, California

San Fran is definitely one of my favorite cities in the US.  There is so many things to do, some many great things to see and, of course, so much amazing food to eat.  The best part of San Fran is that everything is easy to walk or take public transit too.  Unlike most of the US, San Fran actually has somewhat of a public transit system which makes being a visiter there even better!

8. Yosemite National Park

I went to Yosemite when I was in high school for spring break with my family but have always wanted to go back.  I would love to spend a week here hiking and camping, and I would love to climb half dome.

9. Las Vegas, Nevada

10. Los Angeles, California

I am from LA so this is most likely where any trip would start from.  There are so many places here I want to show Alan when he comes and visits me.

11. San Diego, California

Another place I absolutely love. I want to take Alan here to go sky diving.

12. Grand Canyon National Park

I have never been to the Grand Canyon and feel kinda bad about it.  I would love to spend a few days here camping.
