A little life update and a soon to be husband

Well holy shit, how the heck do I start this one?!? Let me just state the big things and maybe I will explain them later. Basically, in late July I met the man of my dreams. It was love at first sight, literally.  I always thought that was kind of bull shit, there is no way someone could just know they loved someone by just the first meeting. Learning New Skills

If you know me then you know I am constantly trying new things and learning new skills.  To me, it is exciting to learn, to challenge my mind and expand my base of skills and experiences.  Right now I am trying to learn a number of things, how to rock climb, British Imperial history, and my newest venture into photoshop! I have dabbled with photoshop before, but my skills are way more highly advanced in Illustrator.  But after looking at…

There is unlimited amounts of beauty and wonderment to be found, places very close to home like Yosemite National Park or Zion, to places far away like the Himalayas or the Arabian Peninsula.  The Earth is so…

Summiting My First Mountain

Today I went with my friend Kyle and some of his friends into the wilderness for a lovely hike.  We went to the Los Angeles Mountains and I got to reach my first summit. It was such a lovely day, the weather was perfect at 75, if it had been any hotter it would have been brutal.  The hike was kind of difficult because of the elevation increase and the fact that I am really out of shape.  At the…
