Enjoying the Small Moments

June 21, 2014

Recently I have been operating under the notion that if I come across something and I have the thought wow thats really cool I should do that one day, and I can in fact do it right then and there, it is better just to act then to let the moment slip by. Today that took the form of stopping on the side of the road and taking a picture of the beautiful sunset.  It would have been so easy to keep driving and let the moment slip by, after all I was tired and I had just gotten off work, but I am glad I stopped.  Now I have a little moment of lives beauty captured. I am so thankful for these small moments, and more importantly for remembering to slow down, stop and really enjoy the moment instead of letting it pass by.
